Six years have passed and MCKS Caring Heart Foundation is even intensifying its efforts and dedication in its achievement of the best service it could possibly give to the beneficiaries. The great charity works of GMCKS is still continuing with the various activities conducted in the past few years.

Most recently was the significant move of the foundation to expand its operations so that it could also cater to the needs of the various groups of the marginalized sectors of society. The past few months witnessed many sets of milestones which marked this year as a busy and noteworthy period in the usual routine of Caring Heart.

From its customary activity of donating medicines to several hospitals in Metro Manila, it embarked on numerous medical missions that benefitted the Badjaos in Brgy. Talao-talao in Lucena, the less privileged and elderly in Roxas, and the inmates from several jails in NCR.

As it endeavors to be an inspiration and provider of hope to the destitute and lowly, the foundation also aims to provide a comprehensive health care program to the beneficiary communities which is intended to promote total health and wellness that would help them become healthy citizens.

MCKS Caring Heart welcomed this year with a whole new set of perspectives that is broader in scope, unlimited in services. The change is expected to bridge the gap that separates the haves and the have-nots; the educated and those who were deprived of the privilege of learning; scarcity and abundance.

The challenge to rise above the uncertainties of life is made easier because of the continuous support and generosity of the donors who, from the very start, believed on the vision and mission of GMCKS. Their selfless dedication will always be a source of strength and inspiration so that despite the odds, MCKS Caring Heart will continue to become a symbol of love to humanity.

Through the MCKS Caring Heart Foundation, your donations were able to help these babies and many other souls that desperately needed assistance. Your generosity has been able to provide aid and immeasurable help in many emergency situations as well as for people needing medical care especially those with severe ailments and heart conditions.

Would you accept these twins?

A Philippine local government help center officer implored the representatives of the MCKS Caring Heart Foundation. It seems to be a very simple request.

The representatives of the Foundation looked at each other.

Now they understand why other agencies have refused the twins.

The twin baby girls infront of them were like coke bottles in size. They had severe pneumonia earlier and were treated through the help of the Foundation.

They found out the parents live in a Philippine slum area.

No shelter to protect them from the rain. A plastic roof to ward off the heat of the sun. The mother is a street urchin living off on the fruits of the street. The father has no work and can not find work.

The government officer has intervened, thus the request for the Caring Heart Foundation to help.

Though the babies had a second chance this time, they still face certain death if the Foundation does not take them in.

The weak babies were malnourished and the scabies has spared only their eyes.

They had serious doubts whether the babies will survive. And yet they are certain the babies will die, if the Foundation does not take them in now.

They need a second chance. And the Foundation agreed inspite of their reservations.

That was a year ago. Angel and Joy have survived. After so many crisis, the twins have become two beaming angels of joy. A marvel to look at and to behold.
