Over the past years, society has been making outreach programs geared toward the betterment of children all throughout the world. The increasing awareness on children’s welfare has brought about significant changes to the homes and to the communities. It was an overwhelming phenomenon, considering the fact that they have been neglected by society, and in some cases abused by their families.

One of the rising concerns among children was the provision of proper care and nutrition so that they will grow up prepared for life’s challenges. This is why on April 27, 2004 Grand Master Choa Kok Sui put up the MCKS Food for the Hungry Foundation, Inc., through the valuable support of people who have always believed in his teachings and those whose charitable spirit knows no bounds. A very generous man, Grand Master taught us the essence of life, that which is built on generosity and loving kindness.

Since then, the MCKS Food for the Hungry Foundation has been untiring in its commitment of feeding less privileged children.

Total number of meals served for the past 6 years: 6,561,732 meals

Livelihood programs (micro financing) were conducted in 12 areas with a total of 25-30 persons per group.
